Consultant to Capital Impact Partners (CIP)

  • Designed and conducted training sessions for CIP’s Amazon Housing Equity Accelerator Fellowship program, discussing market conditions and federal green financing programs.

  • Highlighted strategic benefits and requirements of CDFI lending, enabling Fellows to submit complete and thorough loan and grant applications. 

  • Advised Fellows on acquisition, rehabilitation, and permanent financing strategies for acquiring Naturally Occurring Affordable Housing properties, identifying financial challenges, opportunities to increase revenue and decrease costs, and green financing loan and grant programs.

Consultant to Woodley House

  • Developed a financial model for Woodley House to acquire, repair, and sustainably own a property in Northwest Washington, DC providing housing to people with disabilities.

  • Used CDFI lending relationships to secure a CDFI loan enabling Woodley House to affordably finance the project. 

  • Supported Woodley House to provide all due diligence materials and smooth close the CDFI loan.

Consultant to Habitat DC NOVA

  • Provide ongoing assistance in financing affordable homeownership projects.

  • Create financial models, identify lending and grant opportunities, and project sales prices for projects identified by Habitat DC NOVA. Financing has included New Market Tax Credits, CDFI loans, bank loans, and a variety of grants.

  • Work with the Habitat team to assess lending options, negotiate terms, and close on construction financing.
